Maybe you could raise the price a little. If it was 25 dollars per cat (not per spay/neutor)then the person who really could not afford to fix their cat could still have assistance?
Does the vet charge the program a lot?
The vet that we used for our shelter charged 15 for neutor and 20 for spay. This just covered their cost for materials/meds needed. We at the shelter charged 35 to the person. But always had a little extra for those that needed help.
