i have 2 folds and neither one of them are lap sitters unless there is something in it for them. one of them loves to get brushed and i trained him so that he can only get brushed if he's sitting in my lap. after the brushing he stays on my lap for awhile. now whenever i grab the brush he comes running and gladly hops into my lap knowing that he will get brushed. its a fair trade off
